The Dawn Project’s recent testing of Tesla Full Self-Driving v14.1.4 found that the latest version still ignores railroad crossings and tries to drive across the tracks when there is a train approaching.
During The Dawn Project’s testing, FSD attempted to drive through a railroad crossing with its red lights flashing, forcing our safety driver to disengage. When our driver did not intervene, the self-driving software continued through the crossing, completely disregarding the warning signals.
Tesla’s woefully defective software should be taken off the road until it is able to drive unsupervised without endangering road users.
