The Dawn Project has tested Tesla’s latest Full Self-Driving version 13.2.2, and has found that it still commits a litany of safety critical defects while driving.

The Dawn Project’s testing of Tesla’s driver monitoring system has demonstrated that a human doesn’t even need to be in the driver’s seat to take over.
Tesla’s lead cultist Omar Qazi has claimed that Tesla Full Self-Driving v12 has solved autonomy, despite The Dawn Project’s testing proving this is not true.
For ten years, Elon Musk has promised the world that Tesla is on the verge of solving autonomy. Tesla still isn’t close. After years of failure, in 2023 Musk announced Full Self-Driving Version 12, which he promised to be the savior of Tesla’s woeful self-driving project.
Tesla has a rich history of staging and faking demonstration videos of its products. Its Full Self-Driving software, which Elon admitted is “really the difference between Tesla being worth a lot of money or worth basically zero” and the automaker is now relying on to realize its dreams of autonomy, is built on a lie.

Santa Barbara, CA – The Dawn Project is issuing a safety warning to all Tesla owners: you will soon be given a free month of Tesla’s defective Full Self-Driving (FSD) software. You will be told that the car can now “drive itself almost anywhere with minimal driver intervention”. That is a lie, do not turn…
Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) failed to pass a DMV driving test administered by a professional driving instructor, new tests conducted by The Dawn Project have revealed. This unequivocally disproves Elon Musk’s claim that Tesla Full Self-Driving is four times safer than a human driving by themselves. FSD is a much worse driver than a 16-year-old…

Why The Dawn Project is Now Calling for a Boycott of Tesla The Dawn Project has conclusively proven that Tesla’s self-driving software will: Run down a child crossing the road Blow past a stopped school bus Ignore ‘Do Not Enter’ and ‘Road Closed’ signs Hit a baby in a stroller 90% of people agree that…
Tesla’s statistics on Full Self-Driving’s mileage show that customers are only using the software 14.6% of the time. In Tesla’s latest Q4 2023 earnings call, Elon Musk said that 400,000 customers were using Full Self-Driving. This is the same number that Tesla reported a year ago in its Q4 2022 update. In the nine months…
Tesla supporters frequently point to Euro New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP)’s tests of Tesla vehicles to claim that Tesla vehicles are far safer than other manufacturers, and that Tesla’s active safety systems protect those around them. Elon Musk himself has relied on Euro NCAP’s testing videos, who gave the 2022 Tesla Model Y a five…
Omar Qazi is a pathological liar. He cares nothing for the truth. He only cares about pumping up the value of his Tesla stock. He makes up the most scurrilous lies from whole cloth and broadcasts them across the Internet to intimidate those who question Musk’s genius.
Santa Barbara, CA – Safety Advocacy Group The Dawn Project has today published footage of Tesla Full Self-Driving failing to handle the simple “drive to work” showcased by Tesla in a 2016 video which falsely claimed to show the capabilities of its self-driving software. In 2016 Tesla showcased a journey from a residential address in…
Nobody can replicate @WholeMarsBlog’s zero-intervention Tesla Full Self-Driving drives. So we decided to investigate. It turns out Omar Qazi, the pathological liar, is lying to the public again, publishing cherry-picked propaganda videos, when he knows FSD will try to kill you.
The Time Has Come To Disband Tesla’s Unethical Self-Driving Experiment – Dan O’Dowd | Founder of The Dawn Project
Anyone who doesn’t own Tesla stock can see that Full Self-Driving, with a human driver correcting its worst errors, is worse than a drunk driver. In fact, drivers have reported thousands of critical safety defects in Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software. Despite this, Tesla fanboys continue to claim that Full Self-Driving, in conjunction with an alert…

Elon Musk’s exhorting to investors to keep the faith in Tesla carries little weight while he continues to secretly dump his own shares into the market. Having sold almost $40bn worth of his personal holding since 2021, his public proclamations to shareholders can be summed up simply as ‘do as I say, not as I…

What about ‘Road Closed’ signs? What about stopped school buses with their stop signs extended and their lights flashing? What about strollers?

Dear Representative,
I am concerned by Tesla’s deployment of its experimental self-driving software on public roads. I note that data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows that this technology has been implicated in over 1,000 crashes, dozens of which have been fatal. I urge you to act by calling for more stringent regulation of Tesla’s self-driving software. Tesla escapes the regulatory scrutiny we rightly place on other self-driving cars. I call on you to address this issue by demanding that Tesla is held to the same standards we demand of other self-driving vehicles.
Sincerely,
